Campground Review - Castaways RV Resort & Campground
As our 2nd time visiting this campground, we pretty much knew what to expect. It is certainly a resort-style campground with lots of amenities. The campground is located directly on the bay with a beach area right at the campground. Within a 20 minute drive, you can visit Assateague Island National Seashore or Ocean City, MD beach/boardwalk. Most sites are similar in size, but you can upgrade to the gated Club Castaways section or sites that have water views. Make sure to check out their website to decide on what site/rate would work best for you. This campground is super dog-friendly with a special doggy beach and doggy wash! The pool area is nice, but does get crowded when the campground is full. The adult spa/hot tub and splash pad were new features this year and were enjoyed by our group. Most mornings we started off with water aerobics that was offered as an amenity at the campground. Great place to relax and vacation...
