Dinner with Howard & Linda of RV-Dreams.com

The seeds for this grand journey of a full-time RV lifestyle were initially sown in the Spring of 2015 when we chose to attend the RV-Dreams 2015 Spring Rally.  I had been reading all of the information on the RV-Dreams website for a while and Betsy and I decided it was time for the next step of attending one of their educational rallies.  The rest as they say is history.

Fast forward almost two years and Betsy and I have been full-time RV’ers for 10 months and our lives are what we dreamt about during the Rally.  As I still follow Howard and Linda’s blog I was aware that they had spent their winter months parked in Jacksonville.  This presented a great opportunity to reach out to Howard and Linda and arrange an evening we could get together for dinner and catch up.  Our schedules matched up tonight for an evening of food and conversation.  As we normally do, Betsy used some of our gluten-free resources to find a local burger joint that offered a good selection of GF options for me and some interesting burger and milk shake combinations for everyone else.  So Epik Burger it was.  We met at 6:00 PM, easily found sandwiches to our likings and spent almost three hours chatting, laughing and catching up with each others travels.  We still consider Howard and Linda to be our unofficial mentors for this lifestyle and hope to be as happy and successful for the next next 12 years as they have been for the past 12 years.
