Campground Review: Berkshire Lake Campground

As we mentioned, we had more trouble than we anticipated finding a campground with availability for our week in Ohio. It was probably due to it being the week following the 4th of July holiday as well as there being a weekend in the middle of our stay. While the campground had amenities such as a pool, mini golf, lake, laundry room, etc - we didn’t think these things were very well maintained. The single bath house left a lot to be desired. The sites were tight and packed in really close. There was only about 40 sites for transient travelers, the rest of the campground was permanent or seasonal sites that were located in a separate gated area. The location was fairly convenient to Delaware & Columbus if you needed to be in that area. It certainly wouldn’t be high on our list to return to, but we wouldn’t rule out returning completely.
