Lunch Break with my Sister

Lunch Break with my Sister

When my sister said she would be coming through the Goshen area this morning, we made plans for lunch. While lunch with your sister might not seem like that big of deal, it is something I nearly never get to do. To say the least, I was pretty darn excited to see her. Being familiar with the area, she was able to recommend this great local coffee shop, Electric Brew, to enjoy over the lunch hour. I knew as soon as a pulled up out front that I would love it. The eclectic decor and furniture paired with the old architecture, made it the perfect little space for a coffee shop. I kicked myself when I didn’t bring my computer along for a lovely atmosphere for some blogging.

While options were limited for lunch, my sister and I agreed we liked not having to make too many decisions. They had one featured soup, salad, and sandwich. You could order a full size or do a combination of two items half sized. The black bean soup was very tasty and paired with fresh homemade wheat bread - um yum! It was fabulous catching up and talking about future plans with my big sis over one of my new favorites, iced coffee. Both Russ & I seem to not be able to get enough of it lately!

Hopefully, we can make things like this happen more often with friends & family as we travel around the country. Thanks for the lovely afternoon, Krista! We must take photos next time!
