Hershey RV Show
A week ago today, we left our campground, Artillery Ridge Camping Resort bright and early to head to the sweetest place on earth…. Hershey, PA. As it has become our annual tradition to visit the Hershey RV Show. Our goal was not so much looking at the multitude of RVs parked in rows and rows and rows lining the perimeter of the Giant Center, rather we were seeking out certain products/accessories for Charlie that were on our wish list. Larger patio mats, sturdy steps, satellite dish, USA sticker map, jack pads, jobs (always have to be looking), and more! We were fairly successful with our list and left with a car packed full of stuff. No jobs, but stuff! Literally, it was stuffed to the gills between the “stuff” we bought and the “stuff” Mike & Annette purchased. Annette was nicely squeezed between Mike and a large cardboard box on our way back the campground.
We did have a small list of RVs we wanted to check out at the show - New Horizons (drool), DRV (drool), and Heartland Landmark (We love our Charlie), and Grand Design (Mike & Annette love their Soli)! We also did take some time to check out some Open Range and Grand Design travel trailers for our brother-in-law Kris. Speaking of family, we also caught up with Denny & Judy who were also at the Hershey RV Show checking things out. We walked around the Giant Center with them checking out the multitude of vendors and campgrounds.
With about 1,300 campers at the show, it is impossible to check them all out. We walked about 5 miles and several flights of stairs - so a good day of exercise too!
With a car full of goodies and gadgets, we will have some projects to get us busy in the near future! We will keep you posted on those projects as we get to them.
