Folklore Coffee Company

Folklore Coffee Company

While we have made our home in Elizabethtown the last few days, we decided to venture out to find a local coffee shop. What a lovely little place we found right on the square of Elizabethtown – Folklore Coffee Company. Since it was a tad chilly today for late May, we opted for hot drinks. The coffee was nice and strong and paired with the Baked Oats featured in the picture below made our trip simply divine! I had never seen such a thick piece of baked oats and it was the perfect combination of moist vs. crumbly.  Since my mom is a fan of Baked Oats, it just being on the menu brought happy thoughts! It was served with a side of either chilled or warm milk for those liking to add milk to the oats and their was an option to add fruit. The gluten free sign is what originally caught my attention, but the tasty treat is what will bring me back again!

Update: We have since been back to Folklore Coffee Company 2 more times, once for coffee on the patio and once for lunch! I would highly recommend stopping in for a yummy lunch – salads, sandwiches, and soups. The aroma during the lunch hours is enticing, making the fresh made lunch options very tempting! We opted to have one of their featured sandwiches made into a salad (gluten free option) and we paired it with a bowl of creamy Asparagus soup served with sour cream and bacon! Joining along with their hot brews, their iced coffee was also strong and perfectly creamy.

Staying in the Elizabethtown/Hershey Area, most definitely include a coffee stop or java break at Folklore Coffee Company!
